Meet Sabrina
"The Baby Witchlet"
Hi my name is Sabrina, "The Baby Witchlet”!
I am a registered nurse and new mom with a passion for supporting other women. I became a labor and delivery nurse because I always felt that the delivery of a baby was such a special moment to not only witness, but be apart of, and I wanted to feel that magic all the time. Watching a person discover how strong they are is my favorite moment to see.
I first met Kelly when I started working in labor and delivery, she didn’t have her awesome name as "The Baby Witch" yet, but everyone on the unit knew of her "magical" ways. While I knew Kelly, we didn’t work together much in the beginning, it wasn’t until I was pregnant with my son that our relationship grew and my love for supporting others deepened.
Around 32 weeks into my pregnancy I found out that my little stinker was breech and I went to Kelly for help. We spent so much time together balancing and following breech protocols to get him to flip. Kelly always said “babies are sent here to teach us things” and she couldn't have been more right! Long story short, we tried absolutely everything to flip my baby, including TWO External Cephalic Versions (ECV) at the hospital.... My persistent little boy stayed breech through it all and was delivered via C-section, which was not my plan at all....At first I was very upset and frustrated and felt like my special experience was taken away, but in reality, I was given an opportunity to learn more about my body, my strength, and my values.
Through this experience I really thought about how important and special Kelly’s support was to me, it helped me develop a strong bond with my baby before he was born, and in my opinion, was the best part of my pregnancy. After experiencing this first hand, I wanted to be able to help others connect with themselves and their babies in the same way I had experienced.
Babies are truly sent here to teach us things and my driving force, desire, and wish is to help you learn to truly listen to them.
I look forward to being part of your journey!
